I’m looking for information specific to my business
Each product page is split into three columns. The first two columns contain public data, i.e. data from the manufacturer’s website. The third column includes private data. All the information made available by your company is grouped together in modules. Of course, this data is protected so that no other company can access it.
For this example, we will use the entity of fictitious distributor #Red and the “G-Tek GP 34-500” glove.
Private data listed on the product page
To know whether data is public or private, you can refer to the colour of its header. Grey means public data. However if it is in your entity’s colour, it is private data. In the example below, the public data on the left is featured with grey headers, and private data on the right is displayed with the colours of the #Red entity.

Modules let you group and present private information within the product page. Let’s take a closer look at each of them.
The various private data modules
Internal references
The “Internal references” module allows you to track sized and unsized codes for each product. Simply enter one of these references in the search bar to find your product. |
Product consumption
|
This module allows you to track how many products have been sold, and who the buyers are. In our example, out of the 7,700 products sold in 2019 by fictitious distributor Red: 1,500 units were sold by the Lyon agency, 2,300 units were sold by the Paris agency, and 3,900 units were sold by the other agencies. |
Product inventories
This module lets you track all available stocks, grouped by size. |
Properties
|
This module allows you to display private information that your company wishes to share with you about this product. In the example, we learn that the G-Tek GP 34-500 is on the sales plan of Paris, Marseilles and Lyon, but only available in Marseilles and Paris inventories. |
Comments
|
The “Comment” module allows platform contributors to share a comment related to a specific product. Each comment is contextualised. You will therefore find the name of the contributor, the date of the comment and the entity in which it was posted.
If you are a contributor yourself, here is how you can add your own comment:
- Go to the desired entity (in our example: customer A)
- Search and access the corresponding product page
- Add your comment, as in the example below
Recorded price
|
The “Recorded price” module allows Deck contributors to add a recorded price to a specific product. To be relevant, a price must be linked to a specific context. This way, you know the volume, sale location, the seller and the buyer who set this price. You can also learn about the contributor’s name as well as the date on which they recorded the information.
If you are a contributor yourself, here is how you can add a new price:
- Go to the desired entity
- Search and access the corresponding product page
- Select the type of price
- Add additional information
|
In this example, we’re adding a distributor-to-user price statement. We will fill in all the requested information and click on “Submit” to save our input on the platform.
Workstations
The “Workstation” module allows you to share the workstation(s) on which the product is used. Once again, the entity lets you define the context of the workstation.
If you are a contributor yourself, here is how you can create and link workstations to a product:
- Go to the desired entity (entity of the incumbent customer for instance)
- Search and access the corresponding product page
- Add a workstation
NB: The workstation input field is an open text field. To avoid creating duplicates, you can select an existing workstation by typing the first letters of its name.<

I can’t see my company’s private data, is that normal?
Case 1: Your profile does not give you access to this information. If you do not have access to this information, we advise you to, first of all, check the profile you are browsing with. The “Private data” module must be activated in order for you to have access to this information.
Case 2: This information wasn’t share with us by your company. You can ask your Deck administrator to share with us any information to be added in the platform.
Case 3: You are not in the right entity. We invite you to check which entity you are in by clicking on the navigation sidebar.
