Mapping of gloves by FAMILY and OTHER CRITERIA

To meet its customers’ needs, Deck has sorted hand protection products by family and listed a number of practical criteria common to all gloves. All families and other criteria can be explored from our search module.

Search by glove family

We have created broad “glove family” to adequately depict their diversity. These are available by clicking on “All families”.

You can click on your preferred type of glove and let us guide you to easily find the right family.

Let’s take an example, searching for all “leather gloves”. We’re not looking for a waterproof glove nor a special glove, so let’s select “Mechanical gloves”. A leather glove is “cut and sewn” because it is made up of several pieces of leather assembled together, so we can select “cut and sewn”. To highlight only leather gloves, let’s select “leather palm”. Now we see that there are 3 glove families that match our search for “leather gloves”. As we’re not interested in gloves with a canvas or synthetic leather back, we select the family “cut and sewn glove leather palm/leather back”. Listed results show gloves in the family “cut and sewn glove leather palm / leather back”.

Note that a glove’s main colour is to be distinguished from all the colours featured on said glove.

Also note that the precise length and thickness of each glove are listed on their product sheet. Here you will find thickness ranges, applicable only to unsupported gloves, as well as length ranges to help you group gloves according to the part of the arm they protect.
