Sometimes, your interlocutor knows exactly what kind of glove they are looking for. They may ask questions as diverse and specific as:

“I'm looking for the blue MAPA cut-resistant glove.”

These questions usually trigger a whirlwind of time-consuming actions for most salespeople, prescribers and vendors. Good professionals rely on a wide range of product catalogues, but most of them are no longer up to date, and browsing their pages one by one is a tedious and uncertain job. Some turn to manufacturers’ websites, which are more up to date, but here again, each site operates under its own logic and not all of them allow a thorough search. Others to an internal expert or their suppliers, resulting in a long response time, and an unavoidably partial result.
